Seals and guides made from extremely wear-resistant PTFE compounds: the right choice when it comes to high sliding speeds and high thermal stress – even in low-lube and oil-free applications. In addition to their outstanding tribological properties, these compounds offer excellent chemical resistance to aggressive media. For applications in the food and pharmaceutical industry our special compounds are used.

The information provided here has been collected with great care on the basis of many years of experience. However, no guarantee can be provided for the data, because proper function can be ensured only if the particu-lar conditions of each individual case are taken into consideration. We recommend that prototypes be used and tests performed for each case. Our development department, with its ver-satile capabilities for characterizing materials, determining technical app-lication properties, or performing component and system tests on appropriate test benches, is also available to assist.

(2) Diagrams:

The data in the diagrams are based on comparison values determined by ElringKlinger. They were derived under special, defined conditions, and cannot be applied exactly to other applications. The diagrams allow basic comparisons of our seal designs and materials.
