Moldflon® – the innovation in Thermoplastics

Thanks to its thermoplastic processability Moldflon™ opens up new application potential for PTFE, such as complex geometries which used to be difficult – or impossible – to achieve by cutting. The innovation with Moldflon™ consists of the fact that, unlike PTFE, it can be processed from the melt – a new dimension in terms of economy and processing technology in highvolume manufacturing of PTFE products. Other options include the extrusion of continuous profiles, fibers and sheets as well as the fabrication of components by means of transfermolding. Moldflon™ enables costeffective system solutions, not least due its avoidance – by and large – of waste which is inevitably generated when cutting PTFE.
