NEW Friction Bearings from PTFE and Moldflon® - New Freedom for High Demands in Bearing Technology

elringplast_sammelbild_18x13Friction bearings made of Elringplast have been part of the product range of ElringKlinger Kunststofftechnik GmbH for quite some time. The addition of dry friction bearings made of Moldflon® (melt processable PTFE) has complemented the portfolio by creep-resistant bearings and bearings approved for use with foodstuffs.

Engagement von ElringKlinger am Standort Bietigheim gewürdigt ElringKlinger weiht neue Produktionsräume ein

Zur Einweihung des Neubaus der ElringKlinger Kunststofftechnik waren gestern zahlreiche Gäste aus Politik und Wirtschaft gekommen. Landrat Dr. Rainer Haas und Oberbürgermeister Jürgen Kessing würdigten in ihren Grußworten das Engagement des Unternehmens am Heimatstandort. Bei einer Betriebsbesichtigung konnten sich die Gäste einen Eindruck von der modernen Produktionstechnologie machen, die den neuen Teflon-Werkstoff Moldflon nutzt. Das rund 10 000 Quadratmeter große Grundstück gehörte einst der Vegla, später Südglas, und konnte nach langen Verhandlungen vom französischen Glaskonzern St. Gobain erstanden werden.

Im Neubau mit seinen 7000 Quadratmetern Fläche kann das Unternehmen seine Abläufe deutlich verbessern. Ein neues Hochregal ermöglicht den Aufbau eines verbesserten Logistiksystems. Für die aktuell 350 Mitarbeiter am Standort Bietigheim wurden grosszügige Sozialräume und eine moderne Kantine über den Produktionsräumen errichtet.
